Kristan is the mom to a spirited toddler with another one on the way. When she's not parenting (or writing about parenting), you can usually find her reading, rock climbing, or poorly playing her Nintendo Switch. She is finishing a PhD as slowly as her daughter walks to the car--that is to say, very, very slowly.
