Loved the content a lot of what I am learning has been so eye opening since I have never been taught or told these things and never realized how useful the snoo sound machine is I use it all the time now since it is cable-less you can move it around the house easily. The clips that hold the convertible bag closed are a chefs kiss super satisfying and to be honest the bag is miles ahead with fit and function, Compared to the 2 different “cute” diaper bags my wife loves to use. Highly recommend the bundle worth every penny.
The Course: I am a planner/researcher and scientist by trade. This course was exactly what I needed to put my mind at ease and set my family up to be successful. I also really liked having both the videos and the physical copy of the worksheets. It kept me organized. The content was serious when it needed to be, but also silly which helped to relieve some of the stress. Could you get some of this information from the internet? Yeah sure, but the time save of it being curated into one location and get the personal take of a dad that has been through it more than justifies the cost to me.
The Bag: When it first came in, I thought it was too big. And then I tried to leave the house with my wife and newborn and realized that we could have used two of them!! This is our “little bit of everything bag” and it always with us in the car. We have outfits, diaper change supplies, some emergency items, bottles, just about anything we could need. My only initial criticism was that the strap was a little hard at first, but after some breaking in, it has softened. I LOVE the latches, they are secure yet easy to open. Honestly, at the core it is a messenger bag, but there are those little additions that take it to the next level, especially as a first time dad.
If you are thinking about this bundle and trying to rationalize the cost, I will say this. In the first 18 months (Pregnancy and 9 months after) there are A LOT of things that I regret spending money on. Like a real lot. This course and bag aren’t on the list. Both are useful and, if you are a planner like me, will help to get all the ducks in a row before that little bundle of joy comes your way!
